About Parville

​

Parville is a unique purpose-driven digital marketplace set up by parents for parents and providers of kids activities (www.parville.nl). 

​

Our core service connects parents directly to local kids activities providers, childcare services, educational services, family friendly businesses, and much more, to make quick informed decisions and bookings.

​

We’re currently a bootstrap Start-up business in the pilot phase and are now looking to raise money from investors by Q1/Q2 2023.

What you would be doing

​

• Build the first user driven family sector marketplace, with the smallest footprint and the biggest possible impact.

• Take full ownership of product development and all other technical aspects.

• Attract, develop and lead a remote team.

• Build fully automated and scalable system with features such as advanced search and filtering, custom discounts, booking system, review functionality, portals for partners.

• Project management, life cycle assessment, impact calculations, communication and integrations with partner systems and anything that helps us achieve our goals.

• Active involvement in strategy to achieve our vision to change the way the family sector works and our mission to create a parents village in every city in the NL and beyond.

• We’re currently using Wix but looking to move to Sharetribe or similar service to fully utilise the marketplace functionality. We want you to lead us to initially unlock the potential of the concept in the pilot phase and, after investment, to an independent and scalable solution.

• You will outline a technical vision for our product.

• You will act as a co-founder and are able to make executive decisions on behalf of Parville’s (technical & product) vision.

• You will outline strategic goals & planning for product-development.

• You will stay on top of technology trends and developments.

 

What you need

​

• Experience with all parts of the tech stack (front- and back-end, and infrastructure). Ideally, you have been instrumental in the development of a similar marketplace or e-commerce site.

• A technologist heart and prepared to be hands-on when needed.

• Start-up mentality/experience.

• B2B2C experience with platforms.

• Interest in Machine learning and AI technology.
